Brico Barrière operates the website bricobarriere.be. This page explains what data we process. In practice: very little.

What this site does not do

This site sets no cookies. It uses no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel and no tracking social media buttons. We do not sell, rent or share any personal data. The fonts are hosted on our own server: your browser contacts no third-party service when the page loads, and nothing is stored on your device.

The Google Maps map

The map on the contact section is not loaded automatically. It only loads if you click "Show the map". From that moment, Google Ireland Limited receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, in line with its privacy policy. You can read our address and get directions without ever loading the map.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Netlify. Like any host, it may keep technical logs (IP address, timestamp, page requested, browser type) for security and to keep the service running. These logs are not used to identify you or to build a profile.

When you contact us

If you call us on +32 2 534 87 97 or write to info@bricobarriere.be, we keep the information you give us only for as long as we need it to handle your enquiry or your order, and to meet our accounting and legal obligations. That data is used for nothing else.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data. To exercise those rights, write to info@bricobarriere.be.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, dataprotectionauthority.be.
